What is in Hey Honey skincare?

Hey Honey products are built on bee propolis and raw honey, two ingredients honeybees produce to protect and nourish the hive. Propolis is selectively antibacterial and calming, which makes it a microbiome-friendly choice for adult acne, redness and sensitive skin. Honey is a natural humectant that draws in and holds moisture. Around these two, Hey Honey formulates with Dead Sea salt and mud, plant oils and butters (sea buckthorn, jojoba, squalane, shea), soothing botanicals (honeysuckle, aloe vera, green tea, centella) and targeted actives (hyaluronic acid, vitamins A, C and E, niacinamide, coenzyme Q10, peptides).

None of the published Hey Honey ingredient lists contain parabens, sulfates, mineral oil, petrolatum or phthalates. Hey Honey is cruelty-free. Because propolis, honey and beeswax come from bees, the products are not vegan.

Bee Propolis

What it is: A resin that honeybees collect from tree buds and blend with beeswax to seal and protect the hive. Propolis is rich in flavonoids and phenolic acids, which is why it has been used on skin since ancient Egypt and Greece.
What it does: Propolis is Hey Honey's signature active. It is selectively antibacterial, so it helps keep blemish-causing bacteria in check without stripping the skin's beneficial flora, which makes it a microbiome-friendly alternative to harsh acne actives. Its antioxidants calm visible redness, support the skin barrier and help skin look clearer and more even.

Raw Honey

What it is: Honey is a natural humectant made of sugars, enzymes, amino acids and trace minerals. Hey Honey uses honey extract as the hydration backbone of the line.

Hey Honey uses propolis extract because it is selectively antibacterial, calming and antioxidant, which makes it especially useful for adult acne, redness and sensitive skin without the dryness of conventional acne actives. Is Hey Honey skincare free of parabens and sulfates?
