Spice Things Up With Chile Infused Honey

Hey Honey, you already know that we absolutely love honey–both on our skin and our food. There's so many yummy ways to sweeten up your snacks and meals with honey, but did you know there's a way to make it both sweet AND spicy (one of our favorite combinations). This recipe from Tornadough Alli is a super fun way to add a variety of flavor to any kind of food! (P.S. don't let the cook time of this recipe fool you, it's surprisingly simple!)

Chile Infused Honey

    Ingredients

  • 2 Fresno chiles sliced
  • 1 Thai chile sliced
  • 1 cup pure honey


Directions

  1. Add your chiles to bottom of sauce pan and pour your honey over the top.
  2. Bring to a simmer then reduce heat to low and heat for about 1 hour until fragrant and the honey is spicy.
  3. Strain into a jar and let sit for about 30 minutes to 1 hour to thicken.
  4. Cover and store or serve immediately drizzled over your favorite foods.
